This felt like a very American hotel: Claims to be 5 stars, but is more like a glorified 3.5 stars.
On the first night, three of the lamps in my room could not be turned off no matter what I did. This got fixed the next day but it was not fun to pay 220EUR/night and have to sleep with the lights on. On the next day, one of the lights kept going on and off on its own which was pretty spooky. The soundproofing is on the poor side, you wake up every time someone closes their door in the hallway. The very low ceiling, old curtains, old elevators and carpeted floors (why?) just lead into not so good vibes. It's definitely not modern.
The internet was a bit spotty in the evenings and had some entirely normal webpages blocked.
I realize I just listed negative things, but overall this would be a fine 4-star hotel for a 4-star hotel price. Currently it's overpriced and not entirelty worth its rating.
