Have to seperate between two things:
1st the stay itself: Didnt expect too much as its a low level budget hostel. So it was ok. Could sleep most of the night, as long as everyone in the hostel kept quiet (could hear every sound as the walls are super thin). The rooms are super tiny but thats ok. The floor is clean. The rest wasnt. The towels smell terrible, the room was smelly as well. You have to share the bathroom not only with the whole floor, but also with the local restaurant. The shower is in the same place with the toilets. Additional the shower was somewhat broken, so that the water couldnt run off properly. So i was standing in a mixture of shower and toilet water. not very pleasant.
2nd The service. It was my last day in Singapore. Tbh I didnt see that their check in time is at 15.00. I arrived with my whole luggage at 13.00, nobody was there. I installed the required check in app and followed the steps. However, an early check in wasnt possible. Once in 30 min a young lady showed up (apparently staff member. but didnt offer any help). At 14.00 we were already 4 people waiting in the lobby when she came and checked in the chinese couple that came last. However she didnt even bother looking at us other. So basically 0 staff that cared about us others.
Spending more than 2h in a hotel lobby on my last day was not really what i was expecting when i booked that place.
Plus "low budget" is still very expensive. But thats Singapore standard.
