"AMAZING!!!!! The rooms are beautiful and the view was like a fairytale. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of selection. The staff are nice and helpful. Close walking to everything, although uphill if that’s a problem. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, was sad I had to leave!!!"

The attention to detail is very clearly shown by the interesting decor. Douglas laid out a great itinerary for us that included some sites that the bus tours would never visit. Easy to sign up for your digital key for self entrance. Really easy parking, which is hard to find In Portugal. The whole place is thoughtfully designed and organically artful. "Breakfast is just so so, nothing special. Some of the staffs are not very nice, except for Filippa. When I requested for a packed breakfast, I requested for a brown/wheat bread, instead of white. The staff said yes, but we still got white bread sandwiches. We will look for other hotels next time we come back."

"We had a wonderful stay at Pergola. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk from the train station and very close to the beach and local amenities. The staff were lovely and helpful, and the breakfast was fabulous. I would highly recommend and loved all the small touches. "
