"The staff were helpful, the hotel was clean- however, on the Friday evening when I arrived the Internet was down, and still down when I went out after 9 am Saturday morning.
Otherwise, a comfortable stay."

"Make sure that your booking hasn't been cancelled by a disgruntled staff member before you arrive.
The room was nice and the bed comfortable.
Breakfast was ok, it was greasy and I didn't dare try the egg because it looked only just cooked yet the yolk was hard. The other items were nice."

"The inside of the room was lovely with new technology for door entry, lighting etc. and we loved the wildlife and farm animals. however the outside of the property was a total mess. It looked like lots of the buildings were falling to bits and the grounds were overgrown and not well kept the restaurant was permanently closed and the shared microwave in the corridor worked but there was no cutlery"

"A bit complicated getting up to the room through multiple stairs & narrow/short passage ways - especially if you have luggage.
The blinds above one bed were missing, so the bright light woke us up at 5 am...
And hazard all over - wooden beams going across the bed so if you sat up abruptly- you hit your head. The bathroom too had a beam going across and you had to duck to use the toilet or shower.
Surprised these issues are permissible for a lodging facility..."

"Lovely nights stay. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty! Martha made us feel very welcome. Parking was easy, a permit is provided if needed. "
