"Friendly and helpful staff, super clean and well equipped room with a really comfortable bed, even the view from the room was calming across the roof garden. The spa was a fabulous retreat after a day at an NEC exhibition too. Lovely stay."

"The high handed attitude about not servicing the room daily as they are a sustainability hotel. That shouldn’t mean dirty cups not removed and replaced with clean ones or empty refreshments tray. I did not expect to have to have any such conversation. My bed was not made, but I can live with it. Dirty crockery left outside rooms in the corridor. Staff were friendly and helpful but not necessarily properly trained."

"The room was very clean and comfortable. However there was no remote for the tv and the telephone did not connect to reception. The staff provided us with a remote that did not work so that involved another walk back to reception. A very pleasant member of staff came back with me and ensured a further remote worked. Later on the tv. pixilated and did not work probably due to loose connection which we couldn't fix. Breakfast was very comprehensive and well done."

"The hotel has plenty to offer. The only downside was no Aircon on a particularly hot evening and the inability to open the windows wide enough to let any air in. There was a fan provided but it didn't have the power to make a difference. Otherwise a good venue."

"Site restaurant was handy with a great cheeseburger. Bed was great with 4 pillows for each of us. It’s several miles from the airport, so be sure to plan for the shuttle/taxi ride."

"Had a family room with double bed and single bunk above, it was fine. Not a lot of surface space in the room, shower was a bit dodgy but basic and kind of as expected for the price. Room with tea and coffee on each floor, no real choice available. Fine for an anticipated poor sleep before an early flight."

"First impressions the grounds are immaculate and obviously well cared for. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good with a good selection. The leisure pool although not massive was clean and tidy and great sized steam room and sauna. We had a balcony with views across the golf course which was lovely. The room was fine but the balcony furniture looked like it had never been treated since being purchased and wasn't very inviting to sit on the only negative really but would definitely stay...

"There is ample parking at a charge of £10 per night. I upgraded the twin room to a superior twin room for £25 extra room 310. We were not impressed!! The room was dated and needs refurbishment, The bathroom was dated too and not very clean. The room had a damp smell when we entered, so we opened the window and left the door open to air the room. The reception area is spacious and clean, all through the lobby/bar area to the restaurant. The leisure centre needs a whole revamp as it's really dated...

"I go every year to Solihull and I have tried Voco several times. Every time there is something wrong or it is the smell of curry in the corridors or it is the check in or out. This time, the checkout time was at 11 and we came back from breakfast 10:50, to collect our bags and check out but our key didn’t opened the door. There were other people at the front desk with the same problem. The line to reactive our keys was long and we had to wait. The front desk woman was not nice. At the...

"We didn't used the pool or other facilities but out room was amazing, fab breakfast and great price. The receptionist, (her name began with an M), was truly lovely and a real credit to the hotel."
