" I travelled to Giza with my young son for a long weekend in Jan 2026 and we stayed at the pyramids View. We landed in the evening and were held up at passport control for ages. Thank goodness airport transfer was included in the price of the booking which took away the stress of having to work out how taxis work with a small child in tow at night. "This place is definitely not a 5 star hotel, the rooms are simple but clean, the food (breakfast) is simple but enough, but they have other qualities which you cannot find in luxury places, such as the friendly and very helpful staff and hotel owners. "We enjoyed our stay at Pyramids Valley hotel. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to be accommodating. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of fresh and tasty food. The location was excellent with a fantastic view of the sphinx and Pyramids from our small balcony or the nice rooftop terrace/restaurant. Plenty of hot water and a comfortable bed at reasonable price. The room was clean and spacious. Downsides were noisy at night With packs of barking dogs running around the road...
