"Arriving to the property was very sketchy. Did not know it smack dead in the hood and drug infested area. Once you get settled in your room you’re fine. But, once you step outside just have your uber outside or go straight to the train. Especially if you’re not used to that type of environment."

"Bed was comfortable; sheets were spotless and smelled fresh. Room was clean and reasonably comfortable. AC works well but was loud as heck. Still, helped drown out all the noise from outside and from the hall. Soap, lotion, shampoo, & conditioner provided were good. No bed bugs. Limited breakfast choices for celiac/gluten intolerant people, FYI. Coffee was ok (I've had much worse). Neighborhood was fine, and it was an easy 30 min walk to Yankee Stadium. Overall a good stay and would stay again...

"There was a mixup with the room due to a change made in amount of days and Expedia changed room to one double instead of two. We didn’t know that until we checked in and the check in person helped to make it right. He was very accommodating thankfully. The are was scary and I would not chose that area again. The first room was on main floor and was very loud all night with banging doors and yelling. Second night we were on 2nd floor and it was much better."

"We have stayed at thousands of hotels in our past and have never had an issue with a shower. We were unable to take a shower because the shower function did not work, only the bath function worked. Upon checking out, we mentioned that to the staff at the front desk and she said you had to maneuver a specific valve which is very uncommon in any hotel. I wish that would have been explained to us when we checked in. Never got to shower. Luckily it was only one night."

"It was a great stay easy check in. It wasn’t the cleanest and we ran out of towels. The balcony view was amazing though."

"The staff was extremely good at helping me navigate NYC. Kind and friendly. I had low expectations of the free breakfast, but it wasn't bad. I mean if you want Michelin star, stay at the Plaza. Location was great. I was able to walk to most of my destinations. Would definitely stay there again."
