"Met a friend from Vegas, I'm in Missouri, for the weekend ending Aqueduct's last weekend of racing after 132 years. Chose Comfort Inn for our brief stay because of ease in getting back and forth to JFK (included), and they were spot on with their established pick-up / drop times. The front desk also hooked us up with a Rockaway Taxi driver that virtually became our private driver around Howard Beach anytime between 1800 - 0600hrs, for 3 nights! "Property had no parking and the access for the shuttle was horrible. The property was ok although our ceiling had a huge crack in it that looked a little sketchy."

The hourly shuttle was perfect to get to and from the airport plus plenty of parking on site (and next door) - which is hard to find at hotels near the airport. Our room was clean and appointed very well, just what we needed for the one night we stayed there. Cold water and welcome snacks were available to grab in the lobby, which was nice to have in the room to snack on. Fridge in room was a nice thing to have, which was missing in...

"I did not like that. The Grooms were downstairs and below street level…. There were no amenities other than breakfast being included, which was very good. There are not that many food or restaurant options."

"Unfortunately, there was a lot of noise pollution being so close to the highway.. Our room looked aesthetically. OK bathroom was clean….. We had two queen beds and on the nightstand between the beds when we return to our room day one, were hundreds of tiny, dark brown ants. This occurred around 8 PM at night and there was no one from maintenance or housekeeping to help us, but the registration clerk found a can of raid which we used ourselves and of course the smell was horrendous…"
