"Stayed in an upstairs room in The Bakery. Stairs are very steep so, if you have any issues with climbing stairs, make sure you are not staying in an upstairs room. Cocktails were fabulous in the pub!"

I was here longer than expected whilst house-hunting - I'm used to S/C apartments (hard to get in Boston unless paying well over odds) - but was very happy with the room I had (front right at top which has own WC). The locals are friendly enough once you get to know them. Yes a bit dated etc but for the price you def...

"Was greeted by the lady owner on arrival , who explained everything well . The room was clean and tidy with lots of toiletries , nice touch. Breakfast was a self service with lots to choose from , we were expecting a continental breakfast , but there were sausages, beans , boiled eggs and tinned tomatoes. The sausages let a fine breakfast down , but i am biased because i am a butcher with my own shop. So using catering sausages is a no no in my book ."
