"This hotel is new and clean. We love that it is super close to the McCormick center which is the reason why we picked this place to stay. The hotel room is big and nice. You can tell they put in effort to design this place, the bathroom door and front doors are heavy for sound proof. One complaint I would have is the food option is very repetitive on a day to day basis but hey free food. They do not clean your room everyday but I wish they would offer fresh towels at your door at the very least...

"At one point, Rainbow Motel.may have been down, but the new owners are worki g to turn the experience around. What you get: a clean room with TV and a comfortable bed and shower. But, youre also RIGHT across from arguably one of the BEST bakeries in the country (Weber's Bakery -fresh morning sonuts and pastries), around the corner from Chicago's most popular beef sandwich (Portillo's), within a 2 minute walk of several other restaurants as well as an Aldi, Walgreens and Ace Hardware. BUT......

"My stay at McCormick Place Guest House was great and offered good value compared to hotels. I would recommend you contact the guest house well in advance to organize check-in - I sorted that out about a week before my stay and got very clear, easy to follow instructions. They were also able to help me get back into the house after I checked out but realized I had left something important back at the house. After seeing some reviews I was a little concerned about the neighborhood the property is...
