"This is my go to place to stay while in London. While it is an older hotel compared to some of the other hotels in the area, it has been well maintained and upgraded over the past few years. The ammenities include and indoor swimming pool that actualy has a deep end, a bar, and an inhouse restaurant with a good selection of entrees and are reasonably priced. On the weekends they have a good breakfast buffet. Housekeeping is provided every 3 days but you can call for clean towels, etc. if you need more.
The room decor is somewhat dated and could use some refreshing but other than that, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The usual ammenities include iron, hair dryers, bar fridge, and microwave. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are also provided.
Many rooms still don't have desk lamps with electrical outlets or USB ports on them ,but this time my room did have these which is convenient for me to plug in my CPAP machine and for charging my phone and hearing aids.
My room had 2 queen sized beds and certainly had room for an easy chair. The only chair in the room was an office chair which broke when I leaned back in it.
Only downside this time was that I was woken up on my last day by the housekeeping staff walking into the room unannounced."
