"The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool and complementary breakfast were a plus. We really enjoyed our stay here."

"Staff seemed miserable, but we enjoyed our stay. Food was good too! The paid parking sucked but only because it was a small one way route and people kept parking at the entrance/exit so you were blocked from leaving and entering. Also ran our of parking spots. Even though you have a paid parking pass to park there. Liked their self serving snack booth. I let my child pay for her own drinks. So cute."

"Montara, at reception, was super helpful and very sweet. The 1st room we were assigned to was for handicap on the first floor (which we’re not) and the smell was overwhelmingly musty. We stayed on the third floor, Montara did say the hotel was bought out by Marriott and renovations would be starting very soon. The hotel is in great need of repair…the sprinkler head in the bathroom was completely rusted, as was some broken tile on top of the shower wall and the popcorn ceiling had cracks in it...

"This is an older Hampton Inn, so not as advertised on Expedia. Pros: good breakfast with lots of options and available until 10. Room was clean. Cons: strong odor of cleaning products/peroxide in room that never dissipates. Big chain marketing itself as an independent inn so it was difficult to find it and then they lead with all their fees as you check in, so the vibe is the opposite of what we were trying to book. Property was older, business center was a bunch of what appeared to be computer...

"Now, when we first arrived at the airport, we called to set up our airport shuttle transfer like instructed. Nobody answered the phone in the shuttle department. I called the front desk and they got through and we were told to go to area F for pickup. We waited for 45 minutes (with another family that also shares the second part of this story). No shuttle showed. Now, listen carefully, there are two holiday inns, so when a shuttle finally showed that said Holiday Inn on it we excitedly jumped...

"Easy highway access. Spacious clean room. The breakfast buffet was good with something for everyone...scrambled eggs, sausage, French toast, fruits, etc. They even had a cook making omelets to order. Although I didn't use the pool, it was very inviting. I will stay again if I am in the area."
