"Property felt new and modern. Furnished tastefully and well designed. It felt like a high end experience and the facilities were excellently maintained, or potentially brand new. It was honestly hard to tell since it was overall just a really nice stay. My wife's theory is that they are called the Puffin Houses because they are painted to look like abstract puffins with the orange beak and black body."

"This place was so cute! Woke up in the morning to open the blinds with horses outside my window. Be sure to call to get the code for the lock box that your key is in. We showed up when it was dark. I was not completely sure which cottage was mine, but figured it out because it was the only one with the lights out. My other tip would be to pack a towel if you plan on staying here."

"This was such an adorable cottage (cozy and inviting)! The bed was very comfortable and I loved that there were blackout curtains. The hot tub was ready when we arrived so we could step right in after a long day. I would definitely recommend staying here, I only wish my stay had been longer."

"We enjoyed this property for our 2 night stay. The rental unit looks brand new and is furnished very well. It was probably the largest and nicest rental units we stayed in for our entire two week trip. It was nice to have the space! The only downside to this property is that it was out in the country, away from everything. So grab what you need before retiring for the evening. "The Old Cottage was a small drive from reception. This proved to be worthwhile since it was beautifully located in front of waterfalls and among trees. It was truly wonderful to be in an accomodaiton that allowed you to enjoy the natural beauty of Iceland. The accomodation was also very spacious and clean.
