"I was ridiculously windy that day at after goes check in. The key box did not work. My husband tried forever and actually got a huge gash on his hand. we had to call to have someone come out. Room was comfortable enough. Thin walls. Good price though. Truly not complaining but check on a crazy windy should probably have appropriate preparation"

"No view for us! We were on the first floor and felt like we were in the basement! The bed was amazing! Staff so nice and breakfast very good! We would return…just not on the first floor!!"

"Rooms were very clean. The beds are terrible, you can feel every spring. The bathroom was disgusting due to the water damage. The Sheetrock has peeled up and flaked off all around the tub, black is visible on all the damage, and it looks like it has been patched multiple times. This is not a new issue."

"Convenient location and cafe with room delivery option. Nothing is sound proof though. If you're downstairs good luck! Loud kids took over whole pool/hot tub areas, so could not enjoy it after a long day of skiing. On-site parking is nice but it fills up. We got a ticket for parking on the street. There was no signage or verbal warning from staff that there was a winter streetsweeping that would result in a $100 ticket from the city."

"High end luxury amenities - the junior penthouse was as advertised! The staff is excellent and met our every need. The food at the Sporting Club was fantastic - we had a complimentary breakfast each morning to start our day. It is about 30 minutes from town, but worth it. If you plan to ski every day, you might consider a ski resort, as Sylvan Lodge caters more to fly fishing, golf, equestrian, etc. and many other winter sports. There is heli skiing as well!
