"This beautiful pub adjacent to the River Ouse allows for the weary traveller to sit back, relax or else take a quiet walk along the ambling lanes close by: to soak up the sounds of the birdsong which is prolific to the ear, as they make their homes amongst the well known Fens. "Beautiful pub with rooms and staff were outstanding. Our rooms were really well appointed and clean.
The food was good but we were a little underwhelmed with our meals. Salmon main dish was dripping in very salty miso and soy sauce. Restaurant was v busy and we were advised that there could be a wait for food.
Breakfasts were fantastic though we had to wait a ridiculously long time for our food on the second morning. Only one person serving and one chef creates quite a problem!

"Ideal for a 1 night stay. May need to explain that when they say ‘breakfast included’, its a basket including cereals, croissants, biscuits and yoghurt. Not actually a hot breakfast or a breakfast menu in the pub.
Lovely staff. Nice and clean room."
