"Biggest plus was the staff. All so helpful and pleasant. The hotel has a lovely feel about it. In the centre of the city but so quiet at night and comfortable beds. We only has breakfast at the hotel but if that was anything to go by then the restaurant would be great. Also mixes one of the best ‘Old Fashion’ cocktails I have had."

"They upgraded us to a fabulous suite but it was too big for us and we didn’t like it so they offered us a preferable smaller room with good grace and humour! Everyone was so lovely and helpful. Brilliant to have a private car park right in the middle of town. Didn’t try the restaurant but would definitely stay there again."

"My two daughters and I were informed by reception the night before that breakfast would start at a certain time. However, when we arrived the next morning, we were told by the lady behind the bar that because it was a bank holiday, breakfast would open an hour later. While we understood the change, the staff member was very rude, obnoxious, and unprofessional in the way she spoke to us. When we said we would report the matter, she replied, “I don’t care.” I later reported this to reception, where both staff members were very apologetic and understanding."

Best nights sleep I’ve had in ages . Would recommend this establishment & team to everyone I know . "We loved everything about our stay. Check in was easy and the couple that run the bed and breakfast were so friendly and accommodating. The rom was perfect and breakfast was delicious. Within walking distance to city center but there is a bus stop just meters from the lodge. Great experience! Highly recommend!"
