"Staff was very kind, helpful, and personable! I’d love to come back especially for as decent of a price as I paid, the stay was great!"

"It was our first time staying here! We loved it! Felt like more of a home than a hotel and we had a ton of space in our room! Microwave with mini fridge is amazing so we could enjoy meals we had more than once! Loved the location and we had a wonderful time! Staff was quick at responding when we had questions! Thank you!"

"Such a cute spot it was perfect for the weekend, it was in the perfect location near so many nice restaurants and cafes. Staff were so friendly. The breakfast also was perfect for a quick grab in the morning ! ( obsessed with the coffee cake). We had a really great stay :)"

"This is a perfectly located hotel in Philly. Walking distance to many "must visit" places such as the "Rocky Steps", "Avenue of the Flags", "Philadelphia Museum of Art", "Boathouse Row" and all the parks and public facilities nearby. Great to visit as we did in the fall. Short Uber rides further into town to all the historical and cultural sites in Philly. We found the Uber system to be robust and easy to get around - even for us "first timers". The hotel is on the "industrial side" - but...

"The Gables was an amazing experience and we will be staying here for all of our trips to UPenn! It was walking distance to campus, Cesar was an amazing host and breakfast both mornings were unique and delicious! Our beautiful room was quiet, comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!"

"It was very dark in the hotel. Room layout was unusual with shower window to the rest of the room and door to the toilet was not floor to ceiling and not sound proof at all. Fine for a married couple but not ideal if I were traveling with someone else. Bar area/lounge was very cool. Staff were very good."

"This was a great hotel in the heart of City Center. Love the location but it was very noisy outside and you can hear it from the rooms. Other than that, I would definitely stay again."

"Well maintained hotel with very friendly staff"

"Non-descript location but we loved it. More like a VRBO property than a hotel. Communication with host was very good, especially since we had questions about accessing the property. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the Philadelphia area."

"The hotel was clean, comfortable, and self parking was conveniently located. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The pillows weren’t great (too soft) but not a dealbreaker. Convenient beside usb ports on both sides. The front desk checked us in within five minutes. When we asked for extra blankets and pillows, housekeeping brought them up right away. The location was convenient too. Close enough to Logan Square that you could walk It and within walking distance to a subway station to get to...

"Great space, easy access, excellent location, clean and solid."
