"This booking was a complete fiasco DO NOT BOOK this hotel via Expedia. I booked it, received a confirmation and my credit card was charged. When I arrived at the George Hotel I was told they DO NOT accept reservations via Expedia and was advised to seek alternative accommodation elsewhere. Highly embarrassing, and very stressful due to the remove location. I am 71 years of age and was left without accommodation on a freezing January evening. This hotel should be REMOVED from the portfolio as it is a regular occurrence. To summarise ..... ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING 😡"

"Staff pleasant, bed great. Room a bit cold and the thermostat reset overnight so my 5am start was chilly. It’s good for the cost. "

"I’m sorry to say the property was not what I expected ! No hot water so I couldn’t have a shower when I got there at 9pm or one when I had my hospital appointment at 8am. so I wasn’t best pleased. And to top it off the heater in the room is not fit for purpose it was freezing I will go there ever again. I will be requesting a refund as the hotel is not a nice place to stay. But I will say the staff were pleasant but I didn’t go there to talk to the staff. "
