"We had a lovely two-night stay. The house is very nice, our room was warm, spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent with lots of options. The location was excellent for Bowness shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, plus Lake Windermere too, with a 10-minute walk. We would definitely stay here again."

"Fabulous place with a lodge that contained everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Restaurant menu amd food were excellent. Staff in the main complex were all wonderful. Only negative was a member of leisure staff insisting that the jacuzzi was turned off after a short time at regular intervals and everyone had to get out . Not ideal for my elderly mother who was disappointed and could not go in the main pool or sauna/steam rooms. Never come across anything like this with any jacuzzi!!"

"we had a wonderful stay with our grandchildren in December, the hotel was beautiful and the seasonal decorations where truly spectacular. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and our room was fabulous with a queen size bed as well as bunk beds for the children. The dining room was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean with wonderful views of the lake. Would 100% stay here again. "
