"The staff was very friendly helpful. The room was huge, clean, quiet, wifi great, all the meals I had was tasty and well presented. I noticed that the service at the pool was very slow and it took forever to pick up the dirty dishes. I am not sure if the manager is giving enough guidance"

The whole property is absolutely amazing and it's far more than just a hotel - the experiences offered from the meals to the wine tasting to the runner duck watching (has to be seen to be believed) are fantastic and they set the bar for the rest of our time in South Africa very high indeed."

"Absolutely stunning place to stay. Our bedroom view was of the whole of Gordon’s bay. Superbly comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was a feast with perfectly poached eggs, sides, avocado, croissants, etc! Ate way too much!!! Add to that just how wonderfully welcoming and attentive our hosts were. More than that, they also gave excellent advice on our planned excursions. They love this area and want you to love it too! We’d stay here again in a heartbeat. "
