"What a spectacular hotel! Everyone was friendly and very helpful! My belief is that it is the people who make a spectacular organization and this hotel has the best.
The breakfast was made of real eggs with chives! None of those rubbery eggs from other establishments. The coffee in the room and in the breakfast area was excellent.
The bed was spectacular and the shower was excellent!
I will be back!

"Stayed here for 4 nights during Christmas week. Room and halls were clean and quiet. There was a snowstorm one overnight (7") but the parking lot was plowed repeatedly and my car (a small SUV) was not stuck in its parking spot. Front desk personnel were personable and friendly. I only had breakfast one morning and it was the standard hotel fare at this $ range: very basic but kept clean. As I have family in the area, I will definitely book again.

The inn dates back to the 1800's and four U.S. Presidents have stayed here. Located 22 minutes from Saratoga Racetrack and 45 minutes from Lake George, we loved being able to explore the area and return to this quiet inn.
