"Great staff but the hotel is a bit tired "

"We had a lovely two night stay at Losehill. Ideally situated if you want to walk up Losehill or Mam Tor and Edale is a 20 minute bus ride away. The bus can be caught from the bottom of the lane. The service from every member of staff we encountered during our stay was outstanding. The food was excellent with amazing views as you eat."

"Hotel could do with a bit of TLC but it is situated perfectly for city centre. Great walking distance for points of interest, pubs, restaurants and Bramhall Lane. "

"This is a lovely hotel in an amazing cbtesk location in the city. We were going to an event at the City Hall which is just 5 min walk away. It’s got plenty of restaurant choices in easy walking distance and is situated in a lovely part of the city on the edge of the lovely Peace Garden. The staff were friendly and the hotel lobby and bar are really nice as was our bedroom. The hotel doesn’t have its own parking but has a deal with a large car park 5min walk away at a discounted rate. "

"Great room friendly and helpful staff, we arrived early and they booked us in and stored our luggage and clothes, all were in our room with the clothes hung up in the wardrobe for us. So glad we paid for a good hotel. "

"The staff were excellent and very accomywith out children. Sadly the room was not really 4*. The extra bed was very old and couldn’t actually sleep in it. The tv did not work and with 2 children was a bit of a disaster as we had promised them tv before bed. Jacuzzi didn’t work and has not for a long time apparently but it wasn’t communicated to us . Sheets had marks on them. Staff throughout the hotel were excellent and food in evening was great. "

"Me and my partner were overall happy with our stay yet we both agreed that a few things could have been better. When we checked in we were told that the person helping us was unsure to give us free breakfast even though our room came with it . We got checked in and made our way to our room, which was not the one that was shown in pictures , after heading down to see what could be done we were given a new room, the new room was great and we both loved it . We found a few hairs in the shower...
