"The motel was clean and the staff were very friendly. We requested particular type of pillow and these were provided. Sheets and bed were great. Room was a bit on the small side and space for storing clothing was limited - could easily put a small chest of drawers in the corner by the window.
Wash basin in the hallway was a bit inconvenient.
Had a great stay and would definitely go back."

"Good location, lovely helpful staff.
Plenty of lounge space and bar area.
Yummy cocktails.
Our room and bathroom were spacious and had an iron and hairdryer.
Didn't like the digital check in as it had a glitch which meant we couldn't get our room number and had to wait a long time at reception as staff were very busy.
Our room was clean but the windows of our room were filthy so hard to see out well.
Some of soft furnishings tired and worn ."

"When checking-in, a receptionist confirmed that I could leave my luggage at check-out. Next morning, reception was found closed at check-out time. Another guest knocked on the door of the staff room there. A lady answered us and she took my cabin suitcase safely. I was told that the reception would be open from 12pm and I could get my luggage back at the reception anytime later. I told her that I would be back about 1pm.

"A pretty awful experience. The hotel used to be a Mercure and I stayed there in 2019 with no problems. Now the hotel is tired, battered and looks unhygienic - rotten window frames, filthy windows, plastic sheets on the stairs, stained carpets, dismal bathrooms and all for a four star price. The location is good but that’s the hotel’s only advantage. "For the price point it is a good value stay.
Room was basic, but bed was comfy and bedding clean. Slightly wiffy smell from the sink, shared bathroom shower needs a scientific degree to get the temperature at Goldilocks level because a micro amount of movement on the control meant Artic cold or Molten Lava hot!
Breakfast was OK, but running out of sausages is a basic stock issue!
All staff were very polite, and having the 24 hr reception meant my key was safe.
I would stay again. 👍"
