"Although I did not take a pet, I did notice a jar of dog treats that made it clear pets were welcome. My room was clean generous, with a view of the lake, and tea, biscuits and cartons of water replenished daily. Breakfast was varied with fun touches, and the staff really were great."

"Clean rooms. Need to be careful with stepping into the shower room. Can be a trip hazard if your going to the loo at night and forget the step. "

"The hotel in general was ok. Having to book a table in the bar was not ideal when we wanted a quick drink. Room cleaning was really late and after spending a day out expected room to be clean when we arrived back at 4,30pm - it was not. Not much step free access , so not ideal if got mobility issues. We stayed on the 2nd floor and there was a wedding reception on the first floor on our first night, the noise was awful and went on until 2am, we had to complain along with a number of other guests, we were offered a higher floor room and a bottle of Prosecco. Staff were polite and courteous and couldn’t fault them but I don’t think we will be rushing back."
