"Note: Have to pay just a small fee extra for parking. Basic, clean, smaller hotel room but very convenient right on the M40 on our way to Oxford from the airport. Nice to have to have the Welcome Break area just steps from our door for fuel, groceries and multiple food possibilities. The Welcome Break restaurant area setting was nice with big glass windows and some water features with outside tables."

"The only problem was that on the hottest weekend of the year the room did not have air conditioning. There was a Dyson fan which helped but it broke down on our second night but was replaced very quickly by a member of staff. The breakfast was excellent served by two young girls who couldn’t have been more helpful."

I woke up at 2am in a lot of pain and spent two hours in the bathroom vomiting. Earlier that day I had the king prawns and at dinner I had the flat iron steak. "The room was excellent, well equipped, very comfortable with a first rate view from the balcony. The pool and Gym facilities were excellent, easy to use with fantastic staff. The only let down was the bar/restaurant area. The levels of noise from the assorted screens, the shouting and screaming was ridiculous. Ordering food was difficult as the app system was glitchy and talking to staff near impossible due to the noise levels. The menu sounds great, the reality somewhat different. The...

"The bedrooms and halls probably needed to be refurbished 30 years ago. They certainly are long overdue a completely overhaul today. The bathroom was grimy and there was no excuse for not providing a single chair in the room. What was the point in providing even the tired dressing/table desk without one?"

"Breakfast was good, staff friendly and helpful. Room very clean. The grounds are lovely with flowers, fountains trees and lots of places to sit outside. Free coffee and tea available all day. Thames river walks nearby. I’d definitely stay again "
