"when we arrived the check in was not ideal. The room we initially received was not clean and the windows were very dirty. The reception was with a staff named jesus and was very bad, After we complained they changed our room and the second room was ok. "

"I found the location of Hotel San Felipe to be perfect—it’s right in the heart of Casco Viejo. I could easily walk to the churches, explore nearby shops, and enjoy so many great restaurant options just steps away. Even at night, I felt completely comfortable walking around the plazas, which made the experience even more enjoyable. "Everything was excellent with top notch accommodations. A 5 Star Hotel with a boutique Perisian feel and a wonderful view of the famous Sofitel Casco Viejo Legend Hotel!! The only complaint was the TV in the main living room area didn't have any sound! HOT Water & AC were wonderful! We had a complimentary bottle of wine in our room with complimentary drinks at the bar!!"

"If you reserve through expedia they will want to take your credit card information on arrival or they wont let you check in. Very inconvenient silly rule. Also someone went into my room at 8:30am without knocking. When brought this up to the front desk they laugh about it. Also the staff screaming around the property since 7am woke me up"

"The room was large and clean, large comfortable bed, balcony overlooking harbour and sea. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Being in Amador, there are lots of bars and restaurants, and can be a little noisy until late at night, but worth it for the location."
