Taos Pueblo (or Pueblo de Taos) is an ancient Pueblo belonging to a Taos-speaking (Tiwa)Native American tribe of Puebloan people,. It lies about 1 mile (1.6 km) north of the modern city of Toas, New Mexico. The pueblos are considered to be one of the oldest continuously inhabited communities in the United States. This has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Pueblo Indian tradition say that their people have lived at the Taos Peublo site for more than a thousand years and do so today.

This quaint inn had great rooms at a reasonable price. It's also located in a great part of town with easy access to numerous businesses. There was ample parking. Staff was friendly and helpful. The live music in the lobby was an added bonus. I highly recommend and will definitely return.

Super clean, large, well-appointed room with a quiet heater. Salsa, chips, & cookies at check-in was a nice touch. The included buffet breakfast was deliciously fresh and the cooks were efficient. I will stay again.

America’s 4th longest river, the Rio Grande, sits at the bottom of this 800-foot deep gorge, part of the Taos Plateau volcanic field in New Mexico. The magnificent view of this National Monument and the rift valley created some twenty-nine million years ago is courtesy of the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. Allow 20-30 minutes to check out the magnificent views as well as the state park adjacent to the bridge and gorge. There are no bridge tolls and no fees to enter the state park. It was all amazing.
