"From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we had nothing but friendly attentive service from the staff at the pub. We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped. We had breakfast included and this was first class with locally sourced food included. We had two evening dinners at the pub and both were excellent from the very varied menu on offer. "

"We stayed in the garden suite. It was lovely. My only criticism would be that one of the legs on the futon in the living room area was broken. Our Daughter said the bed in the smaller bedroom wasn't very comfortable so we used spare duvets and a blanket to make it more comfortable. The small garden area was ideal for our dogs to be able to give them some space to toilet etc. The food in the pub was very nice, my only criticism would be the lack of vegetarian options. Overall we enjoyed our stay....

"We loved our weekend at The Globe Inn. The landlady, Jane was amazing, friendly, funny and informative. She made us feel so welcome. She served us fabulous breakfasts and the homemade dinners were delicious. The barman, Ollie was lovely and so helpful, he really is a great asset. The locals in the bar were friendly and chatty and very entertaining. Prices were good value. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It felt like home from home. We will definitely be staying here...
