"The breakfast was really good, the first morning it was fresh but the second morning it was a fresh buffet, I think it depends on how many people are staying at the time. The wait staff who was on both mornings was outstanding! He remembered us and our preferences?"

"Room was clean bed comfy shower over bath window was broken I reported it to reception 3 times nobody came the bar ok when it was open shut at 10.30 Saturday night and 10pm Sunday night no warning just put shutters down and he was gone breakfast was good plenty to choose from."

"Definitely recommend Balmoral Lodge, the Manager was so helpful and friendly. Very accomodating. I stayed on the ground floor with a balcony on the room leading out to the garden. I stayed 3 nights, very spacious room with 2 big bath towels provided."

"Continental breakfast was excellent, very good choice of meats,fresh fruits ,breads etc. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Staff were very helpful and informative of the local area and restaurants. Situated just off lord street and within 5 mins of the promenade and around a ten minute walk to the train station. Off street parking available outside the hotel. Would definitely stay again at this hotel if revisiting southport. Ocerall a very nice 5 day stay "
