"We could not have chosen a better hotel. Kat and her team are amazing. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Despite this being a pub the room was lovely and quiet. Food was delicious with lots of options. Breakfast was out of this world excellent. Location couldn't be better as it is right opposite the railway station. All in all a great experience. Thanks again Kat and team. You are the best."

"Different kind of stay- think upmarket Airbnb but as a hotel. No staff on site- (although there was when we checked in as the house keeper and the owner appeared to be doing some maintenance). So all done by email- you get a code to access the doors. Our room was ready at 1pm- so it's an early check in which is good. Room was tidy and clean. "Fairly new, smart comfortable rooms. Fan provided during hot weather. Tea, coffee, etc. Good sized room and bathroom. Overbath shower but decent shower. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner menu good and food reasonably priced. Only Doombar on draft for bitter but fine. Service friendly, helpful and prompt throughout. Recommended."
