"Beautiful room- lovely view and very quiet!!! The pool was nice but the volume of the music was absolutely intolerable. It was ridiculously loud and inescapable. "

"The lobby, elevators and room carpets need a good cleaning. I went out and bought sandals to wear in the hotel room and especially from the bathroom to my bed. The room was cool when we entered but had a smell. Again we bought air freshener to be able to sleep there. Finally a train went by at around midnight and 3:30 to wake us up."

"The rooms were beautiful. The rooms were clean and friendly staff. When I walked out of my room, I had the best view of the back of the Las Vegas strip. I was shocked that the casino was huge. El Cortez is walking distance to other Downtown Fremont Experience hotels and casinos. The restaurants was very good as well. I recommend Hot Noods. "Booking through Expedia caused the property to only offer a smoking room to me. The room was also right above the music stage on Freemont street so it was very loud. Additionally the cost was $20+ more than what I was quoted as the "final price" on Expedia. Not good!"

"This was a really cute property. Friendly fun staff, room was clean. Just off the busy sections of Las Vegas to be quiet, but close enough to enjoy the night life and casinos. The property itself reminded me of cute beachfront hotels back east, and it even has mini golf on the main floor. The staff really made us laugh and the vibe was laid back, comfortable. "Not a legit hostel. After checking in I quickly realized that I’m from the super 8 which is position next door to the establishment. It appears that super 8 bought the establishment then turned a few rooms to hostel. This being said the establishment was poorly converted or if not any to a hostel. My room had a total 6 beds (3 bunk beds). The A/C unit is not equipped to properly function with 6 people in 1 room.
