"The property is at a very calm place and has been running since 1650 which is amazing fact. The room I’ve stayed in was a attic converted into a room. The room and bed was good but felt a old smell which needs made it feel that it needs a room freshner across the rooms and houses. There was good and spacious car park and within 10-15 min drive from lot of English heritage sites. I would like to see a bottled water in rooms along with towels as it felt wrong to grab water from sink. The staff were very supportive especially during the breakfast they were very attentive and supportive. Breakfast had some good veg options but would love to see some vegan options as well which was missing. "

"The hotel was ideally located for visiting a relative in the nearby hospital. The ground floor room was large, with a large comfortable bed, kitchenette and bathroom. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge, hotplate and microwave. I enjoyed swimming pool and steam room and there was also a sauna and spa facilities. There was a garden and an outdoor seating area. As we were only staying over between hospital visits, we did not use the restaurant."

"We had no idea how many social problems there were in Thetford. All of this marked our stay from being attacked by vicious loose dogs to loud drunks in the high street. Our room needed new windows but was otherwise adequate. If they are all like then a serious programme of investment is needed. Bar food was mostly nice and easy. Frequently though it was unstaffed as the kitchen is miles away. Why not give service to a KP and use walkie-talkies? Dog treats appreciated. We wanted to go to the church but found it was long closed down and to cap it off we found a dead swan which i reported. Sadly we will never return to Thetford."

"Our room was very clean and nice . It was on the first floor above the lobby /toilets which has piped music from 7.30am until late into the evening which could be heard all day in our room. It was also positioned in the alley side of the building next to the pub which is also noisy . So maybe not the hotel to stay in if you’re hoping for a quiet get away . "

"A very good location, opposite the King's Lynn Minster, at the end of the High Street, and close to the riverside. The suite was very large and well equipped. Clean and comfortable."
