"Super nice hotel in downtown Monterey Bay! Loved that it was walking distance to a lot of things. Parking was either valet or self park. We did self park which is in a structure for the hotel. Next block over so easy to get to. Amenities were ok. We wished there was a refrigerator in the room. Staff were super nice and friendly. We would definitely stay there again. "

"Most staff were very nice one pretty girl would not smile for the life of her. Our balcony doors would not lock which seemed to be a little bit of a safety issue. There was no fan in our room. It was very hot. We had to call and request one. Only one night table in that room the set up of the room seems to be very small compared to our friends room. That was there. Parts of the building definitely seemed like they are falling apart."

"Very friendly staff all around! Great breakfast included with a fantastic view. Each room is unique so don't count on an ocean view. No A/C or ceiling fans in room; can get warm during the day. Walking distance to Cannery Row and the Aquarium. On a hill so steps are involved / maybe not good for people with mobility issues. Overall great little Inn!"

"This is a brand new property, everything is clean and the design is lovely. Our only observations are that our room still smelled like new construction/paint. Obviously that's temporary. Our "premium" room was also directly on a street that had street parking and as a result was very noisy with cars coming and going. Others will have a different experience staying elsewhere in the hotel."

"Hotel was amazing by the beach. You could hear the waves at night. Easy to get to, lots of great walking and close to restaurants. Definitely would book here again"

"I love the cozy charming feel of this Historic Landmark Hotel. Staff was friendly and kind. I felt comfortable and secure as a Solo Traveler. Parking is limited on the site, but the neighborhood streets around the hotel off her parking. You can unload in front of the hotel, and then go find a place to park. The breakfast of a yogurt parfait made to order and various pastries was very good. It is close to shopping and dining, and a walk to the beach is just several blocks away. "

"This lodging is a wonderful place to stay! The property is old and dated but it adds to it's charm. It's kept clean and in good repair. The complementary wine at check in until 7pm, wood burning fireplace with extra wood, free in room air-pop popcorn maker and nice breakfast were wonderful highlights. Would gladly stay here again!"

"Good bed, good pillows, water in the shower was hot, pretty grounds and a trail behind the property. Clean room, Friendly staff , great location, nice ceiling fan. We will be back for sure. Just one suggestion, a small portable fan in the room would be great 😊 "

"Safe, clean, quiet, comfortable, place to visit the area. Parking was right outside the door. Lush woodsy residencial neighborhood, walkable or bicycle, right beside Asilomar State Beach. 10 minute drive to Safeway and Luckys shopping centers for anything such as better coffee. Value gem. Stayed 3 years in a row."
