"We absolutely loved the aparthotels concept. We were in a. two bedroom and it was a proper apartment with a full living room and kitchen. It took us a day or so to get the temperature right. The property is in the Grassmarket neighborhood and a 15 minute walk from the Edinburgh Castle end of the Royal Mile. Breakfast was extra, choice of cold buffet or hot and cold buffet. "

"I was a solo traveler visiting Edinburgh for the first time- I had originally booked a hotel on Victoria street but switched to the Horton for a more price convienent option. I’m very happy I did- I was only about a 10 minute walk from Victoria street and it was nice to not wake up right in the middle of all the tourists. I called the hotel ahead of time and explained I was a solo traveler so requested not to put me on a ground floor. They were very accommodating putting me on a second floor...

"It was a beautiful room for my family of 2 adults and 2 teenage children. Finish in the apartment was luxurious, except for the washer/dryer which was loud. Bed and bathroom and sofa sitting area was very enjoyable. Downside of this property is there is no lift, bringing up luggage will be challenging if you are not prepared. Communications was prompt, we drove in but was unsure where to find parking. Instructions was clear and responsive, but parking is almost 0.8 mile from apartment and...
