"Staff was courteous and allowed us to check in an hour early, which was very nice. However, there were several issues with the room. The bathroom door didn't properly fit and you had to forcefully pull it closed, which was extremely loud to both open and close. Also, the in-room alarm was previously set, which woke my wife up at 3 a.m. and she had to figure out how to turn it off in the middle of the night. But the biggest problem was the smoke alarm, which started doing three-chirps at 4 a.m....

"Stayed 5 days in March. There was no room cleaning. Suppose this could be due to the time of year. The property is good, but certainly not “wonderful “ as described by Expedia. "

"This property was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Even through it was busy it was very relaxing atmosphere. It fit right in with the small town charm. We will definitely be back!"

"This was our second time staying at Treemont. Our requirements for a hotel stay are simple. Clean, comfortable, courteous staff. The newly renovated room was clean, the air and heat excellent, plenty of fresh towels, daily housekeeping, and every single staff member was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Renovations continue to this gem of a property and I look forward to our next stay. I can't wait to see this property restored to its former glory. "

"We loved our stay at the Bearskin Lodge! The rooms were clean and so spacious! The hard wood floor fit in well with the lodge theme, the fireplace was so nice when coming in from the cold and the balcony overlooking the river was peaceful. The staff was also super friendly and helpful."

"The elevator smelled horrible. The hallways dingy. There was some nastiness on the back of the bathroom door & when I used my hairdryer & flat iron we flipped a breaker. No ice bucket, lights didn’t work. The bed was clean & staff super nice is the only reason I have a few stars. "

"The national park was probably 15 or 20 minutes out depending on which area of the park you’d want to explore. My biggest issue with this property was the cold floors that was due to the doors not sealing properly , you could feel the cold draft "

They said it was repaired the next day, but when we walked towards the room, we could smell gas from outside. They told us it was just a back build up that needed to dissipate, and we left our door open for an hour till it mostly went away.
