Khách sạn Thorpe Bay , Southend-on-Sea

"Breakfast and evening meals were fantastic. The staff were brilliant and so helpful. Better fan needed in rooms or AC would be great. If weather became bad. Only terrestrial tv channels. Boring. Sky would be a bonus."

"Welcoming staff. Lovely room. Can’t fault. Slightly tired in places but overall very nice. Would return."

"We had a great stay at The Beaches Guest House. The owners are a delight and the property is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very well appointed. The breakfast was also very good. Would not hesitate to return."

"A lovely place to stay , all the staff were fantastic from the moment we arrived . Location wise really good close to the local pubs and restaurants. Located not far from Leigh train station so handy if you want to go on the train , we had parking at the hotel . Would recommend staying"

The day after I called the pub to let them know they had an issue. I was told a manager would call me back. Four days later I have heard nothing. Very unimpressed. Will never stay again."

"Staff were friendly on arrival and checked in with no issues. The room was perfect for our needs and clean upon arrival. The mattress was a little hard for my liking. Didn’t have breakfast due to the limited options and timings. Plenty of nice places to eat in the high street."

"Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was a standard room at the top of the house and it was very clean with a nice ensuite and a comfortable bed. The decor and furniture enhanced the room giving plenty of space to put our clothes and personal effects. Food was very good, we had a three course dinner and the food was delicious. Breakfast was also very good with a good and varied choice on the menu. Toast was available on...
