"Australian family of four (our girls aged 12 & 14). We stayed in the two bedroom beachfront villa with private pool. Purchased through Expedia for about $1000 a night (accom & breakfast). Definitely recommend this room type - waking up to the beach and staring out to the ocean while relaxing by our pool was priceless. "I am a frequent traveller and had book executive rooms for 11 nights. rooms are not maintained. Had cockroaches in our room. We were then shifted to another room at 11.30pm at night where the bed had a leg missing. Our two nights was ruined as the kids got scared and couldn’t sleep well. Then we had noises from next door room and we could hear they speak. No privacy at all."

"The best part about there service is helpful staff. Very kind people. Room is decent, big and clean. Few things which needs to impeovment is not very strong and accessible wifi connection, but food is delicious, unlimited continental breakfast which staff prepares is the highlight of it. "The island is a complete escape from real life. It’s an older resort that shows the years of fun families have had there so don’t expect a flashy resort. It’s been maintained well and the staff are more than willing to assist with anything you need. The snorkelling is incredible. The entire island is surrounded by coral reefs with crystal clear water. "Bula! Saphire was a beautiful place to bring together a family group, but could benefit from a couple of simple changes. It’s a stunning location at the top of the hill, and perfect if you like a bit more solitude/happy to travel to do things. The pool is beautiful but on the cold/refreshing side because it’s in the shade. The house is huge, so could easily host a crowd. It’s reasonably set up for cooking but simple things like dishwashing liquid are missing. Lots of pretty run down/needs...

"Don’t book this place. It is right on the international airport runway. The pillows had black mould, the fridge was not even turned on, no cutlery or cups or water. No tea or coffee making facilities. Don’t even start me about the shower cubicle! The “Breakfast” was a chicken sandwich and a cup of tea, no juice no fruit and not even a coffee. "Suited our needs after a long flight. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. A lot to explore in the immediate vicinity. My high lites were the breakfasts and the afternoon teas. Highly recommend The Ideal B & B!"
