"Terrible customer service"

"The house felt neglected. Outdated electronics. No gauzed door to stop mosquito or bugs. Network is so bad. The wifi didn’t work for one night. The washing machine had so much dirt built up in filter that I had to clean before washing my clothes. The freezer wasn’t freezing - disappointed for paying so much and the place didn’t meet expectations. The owner did try to compensate for network issues with a 50% refund on additional bed that was requested but with the amount we paid per night that...

"Large pool with shade if required. The grounds are wonderfully tropical and well curated. Bures are private, roomy and the air conditioning works a treat. The large, fluffy bath towels are changed daily. All of the staff are terrific and the restaurant is well worth trying."

"Clean rooms the house was absolutely perfect for our wedding group. We had some of the most amazing views and it was in a perfect location near the airport. An issues we had were dealt with immediately. "

Our trip and experience had some bumps in the beginning, as the parts of the property and rooms are under construction (due to be completed in October 2026). The staff went above and beyond to make it right, and blew us away with their Fijian hospitality that knows no equal. Our stay was magical a filled with memories we will carry with us forever."

The staff have been extremely accomodating allowing a travelling family to meet us and have breakfast then leave all our suitcases after checkout while we enjoyed some of what Denerau has to offer before moving on to our next accomadation. "Resort is in dire need of renovation, with multiple issues/appliances falling apart etc. The kids don't care though, still loved it. Staff lovely and helpful, but overwhelmed and desperately understaffed by the looks. If price is ok and you have young children, its still a good stay, but would strongly recommend staying away if childless/older children in favour of other options until they sort themselves out."
