The hotel has excellent location. Very convenient. I would say the only downside is the room was very tight for 2 people. It said you could store luggage under the bed, but that was not the case. Overall, very good property. Definitely recommend it.

Room was a non smoking room. But the chair had cigarette burns on the cushion and room smelled like it was once a smoking room. Room was clean and staff very friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this property. It was well-equipped with all the essentials and amenities we could possibly need, making our visit very comfortable. The train station was just a short walk—literally only a few steps—from the property, which made commuting very convenient. We also discovered a store similar to Walmart/Target nearby, just around the corner, which was perfect for quick grocery runs. The neighborhood is a good area for shopping, offering a more relaxed atmosphere without the hustle and bustle of crowded city centers. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

The room was so small we could not open our cases. For 2 people way too small. Bathroom toilet in one tiny area. Step over high bath to shower. Aircon great. Washer/dryer bonus. Great location for trains.

Im glad I booked this Hotel its right next to the train staion and so convenient, many restaurants and bars, 7 eleven, pharmacy the hotel is really nice and clean friendly staff would definitely return and stay at Apa Hotel Sugamo.

Great Budget Hotel in a Quiet Local Neighborhood

I’ve stayed here at least 15 times over the last ten years. It’s a great budget option for those who don’t mind smaller, no frills rooms. I like that they have a spa upstairs and it’s 2 minutes walking distance to Yamanote station. The staff here is always accommodating. Highly recommend!

This hotel is located near the Sugamo station, which provides easy access to the trains. Many local various restaurants are good. We did enjoy the stay. However, it’s quite stuffy in the hallways of the hotel. The rooms do have air conditioners which are a must in June/ July. The bathrooms are not what I expected.
