We got off a cruise ship and arrived at property around 9:30 am and it was all locked up no one around. About 10:30 we got lucky and employee arrived and allowed us to store the luggage inside so we could walk around the area. Again the staff was excellent it was my mistake not verifying their check in process. "

"What an awful stay - everything was OK until I woke up in the small hours of the morning with bites all over my arms. I ended up sleeping width ways at the foot of the bed as I am certain that bedbugs had bitten me whilst lying on the pillows by the headboard. I complained to Debbie in the morning and she steadfastly refused to acknowledge that it could be bedbugs even though I showed here all the bites, including 2 on my neck. "Well located to shops, restaurants, bus, and walking distance to the train station, but room was pretty basic. Many eateries in the area which serve when the in house catering is closed (open 10:00-3:00). Building is old, so not surprised by some minor plumbing issues. Staff friendly and helpful."

"Nice room and great breakfast but bed was a bit hard and the sink in our room filled up and water took ages to go down. Also black bits came out of the cold tap so we didn’t fancy drinking the water from it. "

"Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up.
