"A lovely place to stay in the Welsh Countryside. The room was large, quiet and comfortable. The staff were amazingly friendly (well, let's face it, aren't most Welsh people?). The breakfast was classy and of excellent quality.
I highly recommend this inn for a stay. You won't regret it for a moment.
5 stars all around!"

"Unfortunately this hotel has become a haven for dog owners which is ok if you own a dog.
The room we got allocated on arrival smelled of wet dog and I immediately went to reception to get a change of room.
We got a new room which was slightly better but every floor had dogs staying in rooms.
Unfortunately although I have owned dogs in the past it isn’t for me and will not be staying again."

"Lovely spacious and clean room
Free parking with large car park
Large nice bar area
Close to Cardiff Bay train station and short walk to Cardiff Bay area
The only thing to bear in mind for parking and glad we checked - once we checked out that voided you to stay in the car park any longer - they did allow us to stay for another couple of hours as we wanted to cheer the half marathon - we were told if we needed to stay longer we would to move the car into the paid car park opposite - that’s...

"Didn’t like being allocated a room for the disabled with an adjoining door, on the ground floor. Not what we paid for. Were then offered an attic room with a skylight type window, you couldn’t see out and it was dark. They then managed to jiggle things around and we had a decent room, the sort we expected. Didn’t use most of the facilities as we were there for a wedding near by but we did eat in the bar area. Food menu was limited and so were the cocktail choices. Don’t know about the restaurant...

"The parking was good, always available . The room was pleasant. The food was good. The problems were - the position on a hectic main road, I didn’t see it mentioned on there review. The heat, though the weather was not hot you could barely open the windows and then had to shut them because of the noise of the traffic and then there was black mold on the bottom of the shower. The staff were pleasant though breakfast was not explained very well!"
