Sadly, our stay at the Osborne Hotel wasn’t great as we didn’t get any sleep. Unfortunately, the ceilings are extremely thin, and the guest above us walked heavily throughout the entire night, which made it impossible to rest.
Breakfast was quite disappointing. The selection was very limited, and cappuccinos were only available at an extra charge. The sausages were overcooked and seemed reheated. On checkout, there was no one available at reception — we stood waiting for quite some time with no staff in sight.
On a positive note, had we been able to sleep, the room itself was very nice. It was spacious, with a large and comfortable bed. The bathroom was also big and featured a modern, new shower. The views are absolutely stunning, with beautiful sea views that are truly a highlight of the hotel.
Parking was a bit of a nightmare, especially considering it was off-season, which was surprising.
Overall, the hotel has potential due to the rooms and views, but the lack of sleep, breakfast quality, and service issues really let the stay down.
