"Nice basic place to stay. It's a pity there is no vending machines for snacks and drinks or even ice. It was quiet during the night. Shower was very good. I stayed when we were having a heatwave so the room was extremely warm day and night. The fan provided did help thank you"

"Overall pretty great, but definitely a few negatives. Cleanliness was not 100%, by a long shot. Room was incredibly hot, oh so unbearably hot. We opened the sliding door as it was cool outside, but then flooded our room with bugs (100's of them). Room was close to the "lake", aka still water pond. Hence all of the bugs. If you are going to book this hotel, definitely book away from the pond or do not come in the hotter summer months. Staff were awesome, exceptionally amazing."

"The staff at the Old Mill are really friendly and helpful. The Italian restaurant is pleasant with a nice outlook next to the canal and the food is nice. The breakfast is basic continental but perfectly adequate. The location is good only a 10 minute walk to the canal that takes you all the way in to the centre of Bath and is a lovely walk. Our room at the Old Mill was perfectly fit for purpose however is in need of some decoration. It could have been cleaner, we found cobwebs over the bedside...

"Stunning historic building with a beautiful garden for relaxing, enjoying an afternoon beverage or eating a meal. Probably the best level of customer service I’ve ever experienced, and the food was exceptional. This was the perfect place to stay for exploring the Cotswolds and I will absolutely go back."

"I think this was the best Holiday Inn Express we have stayed in, and we’ve stayed in a lot world wide . Great welcome, room spacious and clean. A nice area to sit in in the evening, food was available and lots of people were eating, we just had a glass of wine . Breakfast was really good, great selection, fresh and good variety . Friendly helpful staff, great location, quiet, good value for money, what more can you ask for ? Thank you x"

"The room was very clean , comfortable bed and crisp white linen and towels. Lots of hot water for a nice hot bath . The lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived late in the evening so didn't drink in the bar. The breakfast was brilliant, good quality produce and good coffee. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. "The staff were extremely helpful when we suffered a bad experience with our food on our first night's stay. Stick to the basic meals on the menu, like the burgers and fish and chips! We booked a bed, breakfast and evening meal deal for 2 nights, to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but, on reflection, should have booked everything separately, because we would be over £100 better off!! Apart from being placed at the worst, and least private, table in the restaurant, we only had a limited menu...

"Breakfast was extortionate and dire. Not worth the money. It is outsourced and nothing to do with the hotel. The rooms are not cleaned everyday nor are the towels changed. Nobody comes to check for housekeeping. The room was like a sauna. Extremely hot rooms, creaky floors, dirty carpet and windows. Windows don't open. Bathroom water pressure is just awful. There is no fridge or airconditioning in the room. I didn't use the leisure facilities. Aircon is only around the reception area. The hotel...
