"Beautiful hotel from the time we walked in, to the time we reached our room. Wonderful stay! Comfortable bed and very clean room! I thought staying close to the train station would be very loud but it wasnt bad at all. Would have like to spend more time here."

"Lovely large room . Well set out heating / cooling facilities made things very comfortable. Breakfast was well set out sadly we weren't able to take full advantage of what was on offer. Evenibg meal was also good value for money."

Breakfast is available cooked breakfast, cereal, fruit etc. Again we have always found breakfast adequate. Parking at the hotel is £5 for the night and again we have always been able to get parked. There is a nice bar in the hotel, staff this time were exceptional"

"It was a nice enough hotel but I didn’t like the fact that you were charged for everything. The rooms were clean but fairly basically kitted out and for the luxury market they are aiming for they are slightly missing the beat. The service was ok but a little slow or not quite on the ball. Staff were friendly but temporarily lost an ice pack of mine, forgot my gluten free toast at breakfast and gave me a tiny tiny pot of tea that was half full for breakfast. "The property is an old building and we both thought that the rooms could do with a bit of an update - the bathrooms were very modern. "There is absolutely NO wifi and NO cell service in these rooms. The only place we could get a singular bar was in the corner of the bathroom. This massively hurt me when checking in/getting updates about my flight. The front desk just shrugged when I told them. No help at all. The toilet seat was also broken and nearly falling right off. The only benefit was it was a good sized room. Wouldn’t stay here again, though."

"Room was very clean and comfortable, thanks for putting in the fan. receptionist was very welcoming and efficient and a lot of fun, so the stay started well. Did not use the facilities so cant comment. Overall very happy and would recommend."

"Place is ok for what it is but what isn’t ok is the noise, people banging on room doors and running off! Get they do a lot of weddings but that should not be affecting the other guests staying there. Just constant noise, drink people and thud thud thud from music. The spa is inaccessible when a wedding is on due to kids!"
