"Manager Monty was extremely unprofessional Milly desk work completely unprofessional she hugged me without my permission they both mad comments no one should share with a paying guest after I complained they became very aggressively rude toward me and my family !never acknowledged us gave free drinks too white family didn’t offer any to us and it was a birthday! Also pool wasn’t working in door nor the infinity pool the parking lot was limited but charging 15$ a night guest didn’t have nowhere...

"Do not EVER STAY at Holiday Inn Express in Gatlinburg. One of our worst experiences ever at any hotel we’ve ever been to. So many things I can’t even list them all but most importantly was the fact we were charged over three times the amount of what our actual rate was for our stay and they charged our card that amount three times. We still haven’t been refunded days later. We’ve been told multiple times we will be contacted by the owner, which has not happened days later. Probably have tried...

We were only staying one night so not a big deal but it was surprising since the rest of the hotel seemed recently remodeled. "I seldom complete reviews but the stark contrast between the attractiveness of this hotel and room (balcony, hot tub, fireplace) and the comfort of the mattress was stark. After hiking over 14 miles in the mountains, the mattress still felt like sleeping on the ground. I expect a better mattress from Hilton."

"Loved our stay at the Appy. It was clean and staff were friendly. Lots of choice at breakfast. Appreciated the high protein yogurt and to go style options. There is a trolly stop right out front that takes you downtown for free. They come every 15 mins. We used the outdoor pool and little water slide. Fun. No one else was out there. Indoor pool and hot tub were clean and once again we alone using them. Overall it was awesome specially for the cost. Amazing."
