"I was in town for work over the weekend. I have stayed here before, but this time I left feeling a little unsatisfied. I will begin with the good stuff first. The staff was simply amazing. They were friendly, courteous, and knowledgable. The view from the courtyard suite was one of the best I have had. At sunset, it is simply gorgeous. Now, the not so good stuff. "If you are looking to not perhaps pay as much for The Lodge, this absolutely should be on your radar. The team, rooms, location, breakfast, all the things hit the mark. While I think the remotes likely need to be replaced (as we got the batteries replaced on day 2), due to many thumbs aggressively finding the right channel, that’s still not dropping the 5 STAR rating. We will be back and also for the location, both for walkable options and also a nice river walk, can’t go wrong."
