"This hotel has great staff! We were in town for my daughter's graduation from RPI and the hotel decorates their lobby for their graduation. Staff members like Hunter and the wonderful female bartender (who suggested the honey hot wings with green goddess sauce) went above and beyond during our stay. "First of all when we got there we weren't told where the parking area was . We had 5 people staying 3 nights. There were 3 bath mats, 3 bath towels & 2 washcloths. No hand towels. No kitchen towels. The shower head didn't work correctly. Dining area lights didn't work. Control panel on the washer/dryer was falling off. No place to put our clothes. The one dresser had stuff stored in it Master bed sheets had a cigerette burn. Half empty bottles of water laying around. But the worst part was when...

"Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my stay. They put me in a connecting room and the people next door were partying and slamming doors late into the night. I called the front desk 4-5 times and they somehow could not do anything about it. I was having surgery the next day early and can’t sleep. "Clean room easy check in and lovely property. I had hoped to have lunch there, only breakfast available so went to a convenient place right across the parking lot. I travel a lot and will definitely come here again when I’m in Albany."

"The pictures are deceiving. The non-smoking room I reserved smelled as though someone had just smoked a cigarette in it. I was moved to another room, but although it appeared somewhat clean, the linens had an unpleasant odor as well. Overall, the property is dirty and poorly maintained — more like a roadside motel than what was advertised. I would not stay here again."

"We stayed in an accessible room on the second floor. It was perfect for my needs (on crutches post-surgery). The hotel was clean, quiet and nice! Hotel shuttle was handy!"
