"One towel 3 days, no non slip in tub or bathroom floor. breakfast poor and had to carry across ballroom floor to elevator and then down hall to room;, we are elderly-2 drinks cereal fruit to carry across ballroom to elevator, which sounded like it was falling apart, to take meal to room- no dinning area requested extra towels requested twice, had to go get them. trash not emptied. ballroom had large leaves from plant on floor all three day getting TV to work and then could not get channels to change."
"Do not stay here! Pay the extra money and stay somewhere else. Dust on all furniture and the fridge was turned off and had mildew inside. The smell was horrid when opened! The bed appeared to be clean. This was a last minute decision to stay in Abilene and I will not stay here again! "
"Room 411. The hotel personnel are great. It is unfortunate the hotel & rooms are not. The entire place needs to be cleaned & many items replaced. As soon as you open your room door you hear the air conditioner in the room which sounds like a vacuum cleaner is running. There was no way to subside the noise without turning off the unit. The windows open, but there are no screens. The room foyer floor is slick, so be cautious when walking across it. There was not a lightbulb in a lamp on a night table. I would have called downstairs, but our telephone was not working. We kept telling ourselves, "It's just one night. We can do this."
This was our first Wyndham reservation. We won't be booking La Quinta again."
"It was stated on hotels.com to pay at the property. When we paid it was a $40 difference. Spoke to the owner he said that covers his 15% he has to pay hotels.com. Then they charged our card 3x’s. They did reverse the charges 2 days later when we brought it to their attention. These people are scammers ! Beware "
"Carpets where super stained. Mattresses were old and very dirty.
Roaches in the tub. They were short staffed and our room did not get cleaned. They only took dirty towels to wash and never brought them back. We had to go and look for the cleaning staff and ask clean towels late in the evening.
The only reason we stayed was because we had already cancelled a previous reservation for the same reasons and could not find another room. I can’t believe Expedia represents this quality of Hotels. They are not what seem on the online photos. Disgusted with the Expedia and that chain of Hotels."
