"The staff was attentive, friendly, and welcoming, and the parking was convenient. However, housekeeping was lacking—my room wasn’t properly cleaned, only the towels were replaced. Additionally, noise from the hallway carried through the door and disturbed my sleep."
"The hotel looked nice, but when we got there every amenity was closed from the pool, spa, and resteraunt. Our spa appointments were canceled days away from our stay due to the masseuse leaving for the weekend.
Our room was stated to have a hot tub, but it was just a bathtub with jets, and there was hair in the tub and stains on the curtain. Debris also came out when we turned on the tub faucet. The sink would also not stop dripping. Additionally, there were hornets in the room and the AC did not seem to turn on and stayed at 77-79 degrees. The TV also had issues staying on until we move it a certain way.
The staff were friendly however! We just wish the room was as advertised and the features of the hotel were usable "
"Breakfast was amazing! Very crowded with folks in for The Boston Marathon. In spite of crowds, food fresh and plentiful. We had an amazing large suite which was soooo nice after spending 6 hours driving from Philly, then watching the Red Sox play and then visiting the Cheers bar! Wonderful night, comfortable bed, professional and friendly front desk staff. We will definitely be back!"
"If you really have to save money than stay here, otherwise stay away! I was a solo traveler so didn’t mind being further out of Boston/Cambridge area boy I chose wrong! Hotel needs a complete overhaul or tear down. Old, nasty everything. Didn’t even want to sit on any furniture in lobby or room! Pillows and bedding were horrible. Too much negativity to list just stay away."
"Good location but staff are not very friendly! Room looks clean but exterior of the building and common areas look quite old and worn out... Reception area is small and looks even worse than some cheap motels! Parking on the other hand, is plentiful and quite OK. No problem with AC/Heating. Price per night is a bit expensive for the condition of the hotel. Should only be rated as 2-star hotel!"
"Hated this room. The hotel itself was fine, helpful staff, nice breakfast included, free parking. Location right off 95. The little snacks area was poorly stocked and very expensive but any port in a storm for that. The restaurant looked good and is attached, although we did not eat there it was very convenient. BUT here come the buts. What I really want from a hotel is a clean room, a comfortable bed and a good shower. The bathroom was not so clean, not terrible, but not great. More problematic, the mattress must have been very old. It had a big hump in the middle and was soft on the edges. I tried to sleep right in the middle but every time I turned over, I started to slide off the bed, almost landing on the floor a couple of times. And it wasn't comfortable. And the pillows were truly awful. They were hard and flat (again seemed really old with no fluff left) and I felt like I was setting my head on a brick. Really, really bad night's sleep. The hotel is starting renovations and maybe new bedding is part of it (as well as new bathroom fixtures)--hope so. In the meantime, I would stay away."
