"Lovely property and stay. Staff were helpful when needed. I didn't use the facilities; bar and dining so cannot comment on that but everywhere was very clean. No air con but there are fans available if needed."

I really appreciated that the receptionist upon check-in remembered my previous room during my previous stay and placed me back there during my current stay. "We booked a room that was advertised as a double room, but after checking in, we discovered that the bed was far too small to be considered a standard double. It was more like a slightly wider single bed, and two average-sized adults could barely fit on it. I raised the issue with the reception, but the only response I received was an apology and that the hotel was fully booked, so there was nothing they could do. "It was a clean, comfortable, and very quiet room - with highly effective air conditioning, which was a god-send during recent extreme hot weather!"

"Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)"

"Our room was very very hot needs ac ,we was give a large fan but it was very loud. Shower pressure not great. When asked for ice as our water was warm was given minimum which melted very fast, in these hot conditions fridges should be provided. Overall the staff very polite & friendly beautiful building."

"The room was clean & the breakfast was very good. But we were in the annexe which is a long walk from the reception. When I asked where the room was, the person at reception just waved vaguely to the right & said ‘it’s down there’. My husband & I are mobile & fine with walking, but we were hauling our suitcases a long way, so be warned of that. There is extra parking there, but we weren’t made aware of that. "The space in the room is nice and big, the bath tub shower isn't very good as you will soak the bathroom floor. The other issue is you have to pay a lot to stay at the hotel and you have no alternative but to pay the fee daily."
